Rap icon CHUCK D of Public Enemy has blasted the some of rap music's current stars for giving out too much sexual information on their records. The PUBLIC ENEMY frontman, who is now an outspoken Air America DJ, calls rappers like 50 CENT, LUDACRIS and KANYE WEST "lazy" for not taking care with explicit lyrics. He fumes, "Why does an 11-year-old know about the strip club? They can't get in, so why should they know about it? It's because cats is selling it to them." "When I was growing up, it was a different time 'cause you couldn't find adult sexuality just anywhere... I think it's just gotten lazy. "Information is so accessible to the youth audience that there's no borderline between an 11-year-old and a 30-year-old."
Well said Chuck. Now if you could only talk some sense into your man Flava Flav. Word is he is set to tape another season of "Flavor of Love". Lawd have mercy...
