Samuel Jackson says he cringed when Kanye accused President Bush of being racist during a live Hurricane Katrina telethon last year, because America has a way of making the famous pay for such outbursts.
Jackson says, "Kanye is probably going to be audited up the a** for the next five years. He's gonna have to account for every dime that he's made. He better have a piece of paper for all of it. It's Ok to feel that way, but as fascist as these dudes are, you have to really couch what you say."
Speaking of Kanye, his father Ray West, a former Black Panther activist, says he hates when his son uses the word 'n**ger' in his songs and wishes he would refrain from using the term.
He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "I've stated to him very clearly that he needs to move beyond the negative language and the 'n**ger' statements. It's alright to say 'bitch' and 'motherf**ker' on the corner, but when you start operating on a different level you can't talk like that. Fine, you're trying to get some street acceptance. Now that you got that, get back to your roots. You know that's not where you came from. You know that's not how you were raised."
