Kanye West May Be Sued

Dame Shirley Bassey, the original artist of the song "Diamonds Are Forever" from the James Bond movie, is considering legal action, because West never sought her permission before using the sample on his single Diamonds From Sierra Leone.

Kanye West insists he had never heard of the singer. He told British newspaper the Daily Star, "I have never heard of her, I thought she was an unknown singer."

Speaking of Kanye, the rapper shares the top amount of Grammy nominations with protege John Legend. Confident that he will sweep the Grammy's, he says, "It would be the first album in Grammy history that was all rap that won for Album Of The Year."
